Shih Tzu is among the favourite breed of humans. Many
people like to rear Shih Tzu due to its gentle and adorable look. Shih Tzu was
treasured by the Chinese royals as house pets for more than a thousand years.
Till today, it is still a favourite house pets among Chinese.

Temperament:
Shih Tzu are very gentle and friendly dogs. They are also
very playful and alert. While being playful and affectionate, Shih Tzu can also
be very fierce when threatened. They can also be a very good watchdog - they
usually bark at strange noises and suspicious people. This dog however, is a
homely type of dog and should be kept indoors.
Appearance:
Shih Tzu has long and thick coat. Its coat does shed a lot.
Therefore, it requires regular brushing to remove the dead hair. Besides,
brushing can also make its hair free from tangles and knots. Grooming will also
be necessary so that its hair is kept in shape and not too long.
